Safe Oxygen Supply

The PSA oxygen generators used in the O₂Zone® contain very small volumes of low pressure oxygen (less than 15 psig).  In contrast hydrogen peroxide can cause chemical burns and is a potential fire hazard at higher concentrations.  Leaky high pressure oxygen cylinders and liquid oxygen leaks can produce spontaneous combustion or even explosions associated with contamination by organic matter.  The O₂Zone® is designed for indoor operation with air temperatures maintained between 40° and 100° Fahrenheit.  The oxygen generators and peristaltic pump are not explosion-proof and should not be operated in a corrosive or explosive atmosphere and must be located in a different location if explosive vapors might be present.
