Raise the Partial Pressure of Oxygen
Dissolved oxygen concentrations at air saturation are limited by the partial pressure of oxygen in air. The partial pressure of oxygen of the gas in contact with water may be raised in two ways: (1) increase the purity of oxygen relative to air, and (2) increase the total pressure of the gas in contact with the water. The O2Zone® system uses both methods to increase DO concentration in water.
