Injection Grids

A grid of injection points is typically used where ph is low or ground water flow velocities are low.  The grid may cover a source area or a larger treatment zone.  A large volumes of diluted Neutral Zone® should be injected to distribute the buffer over a large area.  Injection of smaller volumes may not provide adequate transport of the buffer throughout the desired treatment area.  Injection of large volumes may displace contaminated ground water.  Balancing these concerns requires a site-specific injection plan.
