Hand Mixing Smaller Quantities of Neutral Zone
RNAS recommends diluting Neutral Zone® prior to injection with proportional feed systems because of the product viscosity and density.  The initial dilution with water should be 5- to 10-fold.

Simple equipment can make this job easy:  1) a 33-gallon garbage can; 2) a waterproof bathroom scale with a capacity of 300 pounds; 3) a 1-liter, 4-1/2 cup measuring cup (grocery store item); and 4) a garden hose with nozzle.  The garbage can will hold 250 pounds of a 10:1 water:Neutral Zone® mix.  The garden hose will provide sufficient turbulence to uniformly mix the Neutral Zone® in water.  The resulting suspension will easily draw into and through a proportional feed pump.

A second solution is to purchase Neutral Zone® in pails and use a 55-gallon drum for mixing.  Mixing one pail (5 gallons) of Neutral Zone® with 32 gallons of water will result in a 10:1 dilution.
