William A. Newman is the founder and president of Remediation and Natural Attenuation Services, Inc.  Bill’s experience includes work as a bioremediation specialist and environmental chemist, developing and marketing products for bioremediation, and providing technical support for these products.  He has more than 20 years of experience in bioremediation consulting, specializing in the evaluation of natural attenuation, treatability studies, and the design, installation, and monitoring of remediation systems.  Mr. Newman’s inventions and products include a low-cost oxygenation system for aerobic bioremediation (US patent No. 6,561,497), methods for manufacturing and injecting small droplet edible oil emulsions for anaerobic bioremediation (US patent No. 6,806,078), and methods for manufacturing and injecting an insoluble colloidal buffer for sites with low pH (US patent pending).

Dr. James Piegat, P.G., has more than 20 years of experience in ground water resources.  His areas of specialty include:  hydrogeology, ground water planning, wellhead protection, and geographic information systems.  His experience includes computer modeling, environmental assessment, local water planning, and long-term pollution prevention.  He has participated and overseen numerous projects in Minnesota and has collaborated on numerous technical publications and guidance documents for state and local governments.  He has also conducted numerous training courses required by OSHA for workers who participate in Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response.  Prior to joining RNAS, Dr. Piegat worked in the consulting industry where he prepared ground water models, commented on plans and proposals submitted to governmental units, and collected data pertinent to ground water investigations.  Prior to his consulting experience, Dr. Piegat was the Principal Hydrogeologist at the Hennepin Conservation District, MN, where he developed the district’s ground water and GIS programs.

Lori Brouillette has more than 14 years experience in financial management and has managed accounts for companies with annual revenues in excess of $10 million.  She is our customers' point of contact for product quotations, sales orders, and transportation logistics.  Her skills include financial management, strategic planning, budgeting, corporate reporting, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
